When faced with armoured formations or monstrous xenos foes, the Space Wolves may equip their Wulfen warriors with thunder hammers and storm shields. Armed thus, Wulfen warriors can deflect even the heaviest barrage of fire and close with their prey, bringing their thunder hammers to bear and cracking open reinforced armour with ease.
